Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Augusto Bamusto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiro Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bamusto darts in looking for a takedown but Tanaka gets double underhooks and turns Bamusto into the cage.
Hiro Tanaka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tanaka gets caught napping as Bamusto dives in and scores a takedown. Tanaka manages to retain guard.

Bamusto manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tanaka on his heels. He'll look to pass Tanaka's guard now, I'm sure.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tanaka can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

It looks like Augusto Bamusto has been cut.
Tanaka leaves Bamusto with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Tanaka tightens his grip and picks Bamusto up, before dumping him to the ground. Bamusto manages to land in guard.
