The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romeo missing with a left hand there. Tesfay was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tesfay takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Romeo just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromTesfay.
Romeo tries to sprawl but Tesfay drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Tesfay tries to pass to full mount but Romeo defends it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tesfay throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Romeo because Tesfay loaded up on that one.
