Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eildon Heap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raphael Bowie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bowie is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 300 Violin Orchestra - Jorge Quintero. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
29 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eildon Heap! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Raphael Bowie! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heap darts in and clinches Bowie up against the cage. Bowie throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Heaps head. Heap misses with a knee strike.
Heap stops a takedown attempt from Bowie.
A head punch on the inside from Bowie fails to land. Heap tries to land knees in the clinch but Bowie avoids the damage to the body. Bowie breaks the clinch.
Bowie misses with a low kick.
Bowie misses with an uppercut. Heap saw that one coming. Heap appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Bowie moves out of range of the body kick from Heap.
Heap takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Heap with a hook. Bowie throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Heap counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Bowie fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Heap throws a right and a left that both miss. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Heap looks to throw the jab but Bowie is out of range. Bowie stalks Heap and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Heap's face. Heap staggers backwards, shaken. Bowie lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Heap circles away quickly and effectively. Bowie scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Heap ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bowie moves away. Raphael Bowie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bowie lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Heap backs up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Heap lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Heap attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Bowie looking to score a takedown here. Heap is defending well but Bowie drives through and ends up in Heap's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bowie stands and throws Heap's legs to the side, diving into side control. Bowie advances nicely into full mount. Bowie is working for a guillotine from mount but Heap frees his head quite easily.
Bowie wants to finish this one by submission but Heap is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Bowie. Heap wants to control but Bowie is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Heap stops Bowie from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bowie scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Bowie looking for a guillotine from mount but Heap is having none of it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bowie moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Heap has worked his arm free - good work by Heap!
Heap is looking to reverse the position. Heap is working hard here to advance position. Bowie tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Heap tries to bench press Bowie off him but Bowie keeps the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bowie tries to advance to mount but can't. Heap on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Heap tries to get out of the position. Bowie goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Heap has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bowie but great work by Heap. Heap trying to control the action but Bowie is working from the bottom. Heap is really struggling to control Bowie but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Heap content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Bowie manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raphael Bowie dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Bowie looks to land a combination. Heap sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Heap misses with an uppercut. Bowie saw that one coming. Raphael Bowie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Heap looks to score with a jab to the body but Bowie is just out of range. Bowie misses with a jab, cross combination.
It looked like Heap was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Bowie. Heap lands a jab. Bowie dives in for a single leg takedown but Heap sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Heap keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Bowie fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Heap tries to clinch but Bowie moves out of range. Heap has managed to clinch.
Bowie pushes Heap back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Bowie is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Heap pulls him back up using the underhooks. Eildon Heap has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raphael Bowie. Heap is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Heap prevents the takedown attempt.
Heap creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Heap lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Bowie is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Heap is defending well. Bowie misses with a punch on the inside.
Bowie goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
That's one minute gone in the round. Heap prevents the takedown attempt.
Bowie goes for a takedown attempt but Heap pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A leg kick checked by Bowie. Bowie checks a leg kick. Heap throws a half hearted mid kick. Raphael Bowie seems to be getting the better of the standup. Heap swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bowie avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Nice sprawl there from Heap as Bowie shoots in. Bowie goes for a double leg but Heap avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Heap continues to drive forward. Heap moves into the clinch. Heap creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Bowie swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Bowie lands a left hand that snaps the head of Heap backwards. Bowie drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Heap gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Bowie throws a head punch that misses. Bowie scores with a shot to the side of Heap's head. Bowie misses with some punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bowie ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bowie no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Heap has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Heap controlling from the top position. Heap trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Heap showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Bowie pulls Heap in close to prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Heap trying to move into half guard but instead Bowie has managed to sweep! Heap trying to keep a closed guard but Bowie is proving a slippery customer.
Bowie is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Heap is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Heap has escaped and now he's on top! Heap trying to control but Bowie is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bowie managing to control the position. Bowie looking for a guillotine here but Heap defends easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Eildon Heap will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Heap throws a low kick but Bowie avoids it. Heap checks the leg kick nicely there.
Bowie takes one on the button. Heap takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Bowie misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Heap stuffs the takedown attempt from Bowie. Bowie gets slowly back to his feet. Bowie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bowie darts in looking for a takedown but Heap gets double underhooks and turns Bowie into the cage. Heap tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bowie was well out of range. Poor timing from Heap. Bowie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Heap moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bowie will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Heap throws a right hand that Bowie ducks under and follows up with a left that Bowie also avoids with ease. Bowie moves forwards but Heap connects with a nice, crisp jab. Heap gets in close and instigates a clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Heap lands a body shot. Bowie's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Nice elbow from Heap.
That's one minute gone in the round. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Heap just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bowie's brow. Bowie has Heap pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Bowie pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Heap tumbling to the mat - Bowie dives into Heap's guard. Bowie takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bowie wants to pass the guard but Heap is keeping the position. Heap is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bowie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Heap is keeping the position for now. Heap is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Bowie passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bowie has an Americana. Heap didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bowie is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bowie hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
