Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Kruschewsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Green is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Green! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Carlos Kruschewsky! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green shoots in for a takedown but Kruschewsky shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Kruschewsky with the counter takedown but Green avoids it easily. Green showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kruschewsky.
Green tries to keep at a distance but Kruschewsky has taken the fight into the clinch. Green trying to land knees to the body.
Kruschewsky is pushing Green up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Green is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kruschewsky is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Green to the mat. Green regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kruschewsky slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kruschewsky advances to half guard. Kruschewsky trying to pass the guard but Green defending well. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Green is positioning himself well to prevent Kruschewsky advancing to mount. Green is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kruschewsky's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kruschewsky's back! Kruschewsky can't escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kruschewsky manages to reverse the position and now he's in Green's guard. Nice work there by Kruschewsky.
Kruschewsky postures up in Green's guard and throws a big left but Green blocks it. Kruschewsky is stalling in the full guard. Green looking for a sweep. Not yet Green, not yet. Kruschewsky is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kruschewsky postures up in Green's guard and throws a big left but Green blocks it. Kruschewsky wants to pass the guard but Green is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kruschewsky pushes down on Green's leg and manages to get into half guard. Kruschewsky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Green. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Green is trying to stand up here but Kruschewsky is controlling him well. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Kruschewsky is thwarting Green's attempts to control the position. Kruschewsky lands with a punch from half guard. Kruschewsky thows a huge punch but Green dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kruschewsky wants to stand up but Green is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Green is trying to maintain the position but Kruschewsky is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Green misses with a head kick.
Kruschewsky closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Green manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Kruschewsky keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Kruschewsky can't get the takedown.
Kruschewsky is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kruschewsky's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A slow jab from Kruschewsky misses its intended target. Green has a takedown stuffed. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos Kruschewsky dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Kruschewsky shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Green is trying to defend but Kruschewsky finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Kruschewsky takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Green keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Well, if Kruschewsky is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Green makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Green. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kruschewsky seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kruschewsky looking to pass the guard. Kruschewsky is working Green over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Kruschewsky passes Green's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Kruschewsky works his way into full mount! Green swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Kruschewsky thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Green is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Kruschewsky controlling from the full mount. Kruschewsky looking to control but Green is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kruschewsky goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Green is on top in guard.
Kruschewsky has his foot on Green's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Green works his way back into a safe position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kruschewsky throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Green wants to stand but Kruschewsky has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Kruschewsky has control of Green's left arm, preventing Green from doing any damage. Kruschewsky is trying to keep Green in close.
Green passes Kruschewsky's left leg - he's now in half guard. Green is thwarting Kruschewsky's attempts to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kruschewsky is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Green is staying active. Kruschewsky is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Green's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Green's back! Green is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Kruschewsky off. It looks like it's working - Kruschewsky slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Green displaying calm under pressure there. Kruschewsky gets the takedown into side control. Kruschewsky swings around for an armbar but Green sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kruschewsky's guard. Kruschewsky trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kruschewsky not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Green's corner is telling him to maintain position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Carlos Kruschewsky will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Green's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Kruschewsky. Green sneaks out the side door and pushes Kruschewsky away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Green shoots in and drives through. Kruschewsky sprawls well. Kruschewsky decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Green manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Kruschewsky keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! A bit of stalling here from Kruschewsky.
Green wants a takedown but no success here.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Green tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kruschewsky just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Green. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kruschewsky has picked Green up - he's going for a ride! Kruschewsky dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Kruschewsky performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Kruschewsky is stalling here. Green is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Kruschewsky seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Green has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kruschewsky wants to control but Green postures up. Kruschewsky tries to improve position but can't. Kruschewsky can't do much from the bottom here. Kruschewsky looking for a sweep but Green has passed into full mount! Oh no! Kruschewsky regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Green is thwarting Kruschewsky's attempts to control the position. Kruschewsky wants to improve his position but Green is controlling well.
Kruschewsky keeps trying to improve his position. Kruschewsky is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Green's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Green's back! Kruschewsky is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Green knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Green for a finish. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Green looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Green fending off the submission attempt from Kruschewsky. Kruschewsky is riding his opponent, not letting Green buck him off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Green trying to control the action but Kruschewsky just sinks the hooks in. Kruschewsky looking to break Green's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Green remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Kruschewsky will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! I really don't envy Green right now.
Kruschewsky working for the choke. John Green has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Carlos Kruschewsky is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Green is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Green. Well Kruschewsky has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
