The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel feints a jab promting Silva to slip. Steel then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Silva slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Silva is rocked!
It looks like David Silva has been cut. Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Steel's waist but Steel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side. Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can Steel finish him? Silva tries to clinch up and Steel counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Silva looks winded! Steel connects with a right that clearly hurt Silva. He's backed up against the ropes with nowhere to go as Steel proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Silva collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Steel!
