Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregory House (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buleia Ribeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gregory House! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Buleia Ribeiro! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ribeiro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with House but House pushes him off and we're back to square one. House pushing out the jab but it's not landing. House loads up on a big right hand but Ribeiro slips the punch. House blocks a head kick by Ribeiro.
House looks to throw the jab but Ribeiro is out of range. The fight stays on the outside here - Ribeiro looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ribeiro keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from House. Ribeiro moves out of range as House strikes. House looks to land a combination but Ribeiro avoids it well. Ribeiro moves out of range of the strikes. Ribeiro wants to clinch up but House keeps it at a distance. Ribeiro tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ribeiro misses with the combination.
House scores with a jab.
It looks like Buleia Ribeiro has been cut. Ribeiro slips a jab and a cross from House.
House looks to land a right hand but Ribeiro moved out of range. House throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
House cracks Ribeiro with an uppercut from hell and Ribeiro crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of House's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Ribeiro is rocked! Ribeiro is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Ribeiro is still in real trouble! Can House finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round. Ribeiro seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but House does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Ribeiro seems to have recovered his senses. Ribeiro thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. House really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ribeiro trying to control the action but House is working from the bottom. Ribeiro has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. It looks like Ribeiro is going to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. House tries to roll over but Ribeiro keeps him under control. House is staying active underneath Ribeiro, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ribeiro looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
House on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if House tries to get out of the position. Ribeiro is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. House doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ribeiro.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. House cracks Ribeiro with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
That's four minutes gone in the round. House lands a jab to Ribeiro's midsection. Ribeiro looks gassed! House feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ribeiro sprawling to the canvas! Ribeiro rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can House finish him?!
House is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! House misses with a straight right. House ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ribeiro moves away. House misses with a two punch combination.

Ribeiro has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. House is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ribeiro. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. House is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Ribeiro will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gregory House dominated that round. The cut man is working on Buleia Ribeiro's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Ribeiro looks for a takedown but House sprawls well. House scores with a jab to the jaw. House throws a right hand that Ribeiro ducks under and follows up with a left that Ribeiro also avoids with ease. Ribeiro tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but House swivels and escapes. Jab by House. House is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. House fakes the body blow, causing Ribeiro to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Ribeiro goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gregory House!
