The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Schultz.
Severn keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Schultz.
The fighters circling - Schultz throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A shot to the liver by Severn. Beautiful body shot.
Severn scores with a hook to the body. Schultz takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Schultz looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Schultz throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Severn counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Severn works Schultz's body with a nice hook.
Schultz is breathing heavily.
Severn scores with a leg kick.

Severn scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Severn throws a leg kick which misses Schultz's front leg but catches the back leg as Schultz tries to avoid it.
Severn closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Schultz! Severn dives in looking to finish! Schultz is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
