The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sanchez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Shaw somewhat.
Shaw takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A good leg kick by Shaw.
Sanchez misses with a double jab
and Shaw counters with a thumping low kick.
Sanchez works the jab nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shaw falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sanchez counters with a left and a right that stings Shaw.

Shaw breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Shaw gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Sanchez counters with a crisp one two that drops Shaw! Sanchez thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Shaw to his feet! Shaw is in big trouble!
Shaw is rocked!
Shaw walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Sanchez swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
