Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leland Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Professor Chaos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palmer's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Annihilator - Fun Palace. Chaos has chosen Chaos as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Leland Palmer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Professor Chaos !
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Palmer lands a really nice looking cross but Chaos seems unphased.
Chaos on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Palmer moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Chaos goes down! Can Palmer finish him!?


Chaos is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chaos trying to control the position.
Chaos is still in real trouble! Can Palmer finish him?
Palmer passes Chaos 's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Chaos seems to have recovered his senses.
Chaos is looking to improve his position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Chaos rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Palmer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Palmer feints and as Chaos raises his hands in defense, Palmer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chaos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Palmer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Palmer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chaos swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chaos controls Palmer momentarily but Palmer frees himself.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Chaos had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Palmer defends it easily.
Chaos controls Palmer momentarily but Palmer frees himself.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Palmer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Chaos works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

We've been hearing good reports from Palmer's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Chaos is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Palmer's half guard.

Chaos is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Palmer doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Chaos .

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Palmer is on top in guard.

Palmer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Palmer attempts a counter takedown but Chaos avoids it well and moves away.

Chaos is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Leland Palmer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Chaos is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Palmer defends well.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Palmer in particular looking to stall.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Chaos has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Palmer is working away from the top position though.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Chaos stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Palmer throws up his legs and catches Chaos in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Chaos tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Palmer! That came out of nowhere!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Leland Palmer!
Leland Palmer tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
