Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Calloway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Timmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calloway comes into the arena with The Death Symphony blaring out of the sound system. Timmons has chosen Take Me To Church as his entrance music. Nate Timmons looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Calloway! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nate Timmons! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Calloway tries a head kick but it misses.
Calloway definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Timmons misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Calloway misses with a head kick.
Timmons tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Calloway lands with an overhand left. Timmons lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Calloway fails with an attempt to clinch.
Timmons thows a body kick. Calloway tries to catch it but that hurt him. Calloway pushes Timmons away with a front kick. Timmons looks winded! Calloway blocks a head kick by Timmons.
Calloway shoots in but no luck this time. Despite the aggression on Timmons's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Calloway throws a shot to the body.
Calloway feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Timmons sprawling to the canvas! Timmons rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Calloway finish him?!
It looks like Nate Timmons has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Calloway shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Timmons throws a big counter head kick but Calloway avoids it with no problem. Calloway tries to land a front kick but Timmons steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Calloway. Calloway takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Timmons needs to keep his hands up - Calloway had a free shot at his head there.
Timmons is rocked! Calloway misses with a head kick.
Timmons will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Calloway drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Timmons is still in real trouble! Can Calloway finish him? Calloway content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. You can see the frustration on Timmons's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Timmons seems to have recovered his senses. Calloway throws an elbow but Timmons slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Calloway scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Timmons is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Calloway can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Calloway! After the fight, Mark Calloway was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. In defeat, Nate Timmons stepped up to the mic, saying 'Oh, what a bummer...lesson learned!but wait for the next victory, for the spoils of this defeat will be sown...'.
