Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darren Lockyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wooden Pencil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pencil is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Full Retard. Darren Lockyer could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Wooden Pencil's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
25 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Wooden Pencil!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Pencil.
Nice cross by Lockyer.
Lockyer has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pencil scores with a hook to the body.
A short body shot lands from Pencil as the two fighters clinch.
Pencil pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lockyer throws a body shot but no joy.
Pencil throws a hook but Lockyer avoids it easily.
Pencil looks to land a left hand but Lockyer moved out of range nicely.
Lockyer connects with a good right hand that stumbles Pencil. Pencil circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Lockyer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pencil looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lockyer throws an off balance right hand
and Pencil counters with a one-two to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pencil throws a nice inside leg kick.
Lockyer connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Pencil is rocked!
Pencil slips a straight right by Lockyer.
Lockyer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pencil moves away.
Pencil swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Pencil takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Darren Lockyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lockyer cracks Pencil with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Pencil tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Lockyer pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Pencil is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darren Lockyer!
After the fight, Darren Lockyer was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
