Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zertiis looks to land a left hand but Jennings moved out of range nicely.
Jennings throws a head kick but Zertiis moves out of range.
It looked like Zertiis was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Jennings misses with a right hand
and Zertiis counters with a shoot takedown. Jennings fights it but they end up in guard.
Zertiis is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zertiis seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jennings for as long as he can get away with.
Jennings wants to stand up but Zertiis is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jennings on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Zertiis is trying to drag Jennings to the mat but Jennings just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Zertiis keeps control of Jennings as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Zertiis can't get the takedown.
Zertiis blocks an uppercut.
Zertiis scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Zertiis lands a nice uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jennings wants to stand and escape but Zertiis is having none of it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Jennings throws a sloppy head kick
and Zertiis counters with a good low kick that Jennings was not able to check.
Zertiis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jennings misses with a head kick.
Jennings tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Zertiis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jennings throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Zertiis seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Jennings misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Zertiis.
Jennings gets caught napping as Zertiis dives in and scores a takedown. Jennings manages to retain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zertiis is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Zertiis has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Zertiis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Zertiis prevents Jennings from getting back to his feet.
Zertiis postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Jennings covers up, he's hurt! Zertiis keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Zertiis and the ref steps in to end the fight! Zertiis can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
