Star lands with a nice body punch.
Vamidov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Vamidov lands in his opponent's guard.
Vamidov is standing up over Star. Star looks to escape but Vamidov dives into side control.
Star can't do much from the bottom here.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Vamidov prevents Star from escaping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vamidov is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
