Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erick Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henrik Messinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Erick Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Henrik Messinger!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Turner does no damage.
Turner misses with a combination
and Messinger makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Messinger has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Turner on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Turner misses with a few strikes there.
Messinger lands with an overhand left.
A jab from Turner misses.
Turner doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Turner walks into a straight right hand from Messinger.
Turner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Messinger slips a jab and a cross from Turner.
Messinger swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Turner.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Turner lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Turner.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Turner on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Turner throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Messinger counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Messinger punishes Turner's body with a nice straight punch.
Turner gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Messinger gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Henrik Messinger!
A very excited looking Henrik Messinger rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
