Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Eye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and VJ Lamban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Lamban or perhaps it was just good defense by Eye, which made it look bad.
Lamban misses with a takedown attempt - Eye sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Eye tries to bum rush Lamban with a series of wild strikes but Lamban uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Eye ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lamban moves away.
Lamban tries to sprawl but Eye drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Eye not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Lamban wants to get back to full guard.
Eye is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Lamban really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Eye. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Eye is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Well, if Eye is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Eye is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Eye lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Eye is controlling the pace.
Lamban is looking for a sweep. Eye is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Eye has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lamban defend it? Eye steps over the head and cranks it - Lamban is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Eye!
