Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, George Walcott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Halo Barbado!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Walcott.
Barbado defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Walcott.
Walcott lands a two punch combo.


It looks like Halo Barbado has been cut.

Barbado dives in and scores a takedown into Walcott's guard.
Walcott is trying to keep Barbado in close.
Barbado is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Barbado is looking to work some ground and pound but Walcott has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barbado trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Barbado postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Barbado is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Walcott is trying to keep Barbado in close.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Barbado is in close to Walcott's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Walcott can't keep his opponent in guard - Barbado advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Barbado passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Walcott!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barbado takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Barbado pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Barbado working the ground and pound effectively.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Walcott is bucking up trying to escape but Barbado cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Barbado connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Barbado has control of Walcott's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Walcott regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Barbado has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Barbado lands with some strikes.

Barbado has isolated one of Walcott's arms. Walcott looking to fight him off but Barbado twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
