Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Baybay Kang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dan Martel!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martel moves away from the strike by Kang.
Martel throws a head kick but Kang moves out of range.
Kang was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Martel moves into the clinch successfully.
Kang tries a body shot but Martel blocks it.
Martel effectively controlling the action here.
Martel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kang misses with a wild body shot.
Kang avoids the body shot from Martel.
Martel tries for a takedown but Kang sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kang avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Martel misses the shot to the body.
Kang throws a head kick that misses.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kang lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Martel has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Martel and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Kang swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kang drives through with a takedown into Martel's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Martel is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Martel keeping moving, preventing Kang from controlling successfully.
Kang stands and throws Martel's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Kang has an Americana. Martel didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kang is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kang hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Baybay Kang!
