Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vishka Vishkovski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jared Tillion!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Vishkovski misses.
Tillion with the counter takedown but Vishkovski avoids it easily.
Tillion closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Vishkovski quickly recovers to half guard.
Vishkovski has hold of Tillion's hands but Tillion slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Vishkovski on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Vishkovski tries to get out of the position.
Vishkovski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tillion throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Tillion has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Vishkovski is looking for a sweep. Tillion is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Tillion not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Vishkovski has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tillion is working away from the top position though.
Tillion looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tillion thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Vishkovski's head.

Tillion landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Vishkovski is rocked!
Tillion lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Vishkovski quite badly. Vishkovski pulls Tillion in close trying to recover. Tillion postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Vishkovski on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Vishkovski doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jared Tillion!
