Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sam Sandman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Duffy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Sandman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Duffy! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Duffy does no damage. Sandman jabs Duffy right on the nose. Duffy blinks but takes it well. Sandman lands a jab to Duffy's midsection. Sloppy strikes from Sandman. Those never looked like landing. As Sandman backs off Duffy throws a huge counter combo but Sandman manages to avoid it all. Sandman is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Duffy looks to land a right hand but Sandman moved out of range. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Duffy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Duffy throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sandman throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Sandman moves out of range of the body kick from Duffy.
Duffy gets tackled into the cage by Sandman. Sandman maintains the clinch. Duffy has had enough of the clinch but Sandman keeps him there for the moment. Duffy looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Duffy has had enough of the clinch but Sandman keeps him there for the moment. Duffy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sandman has him pressed against the cage. Sandman throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Duffys head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Duffy is looking to break free of the clinch but Sandman has double underhooks. Sandman lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Sandman has Duffy pressed against the cage, preventing Duffy from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Duffy tries to break the clinch but Sandman is controlling the position. Sandman scores with a shoulder strike. Sandman has Duffy pressed against the cage, preventing Duffy from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sandman cracks Duffy with a nice body shot. Sandman lands a hook to the side of the head.
Duffy is rocked! Sandman scores with a nice hook to the head. Duffy is still on wobbly legs! Can Sandman finish him? Sandman lands a body shot. Sandman creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Duffy with a big uppercut! Duffy tries to clinch up but Sandman pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Duffy to the mat! Duffy covers up and Sandman unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Sam Sandman! Sam Sandman took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, Voodoo Nutrition for their support in the buildup to the fight.
