The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Hammer finds it's target.
Hammer pushes De La Cruz up against the cage in a clinch.
De La Cruz takes a shot to the head.
De La Cruz jumps guard but Hammer turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Hammer.
Hammer throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
De La Cruz wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hammer working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Hammer lands an uppercut.
De La Cruz is rocked!
Hammer lands a left hand.
Oh De La Cruz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hammer creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends De La Cruz's eyes rolling into the back of his head! De La Cruz drops to his knees and Hammer pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

After winning the bout, Frank Hammer thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
