Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Franklin Fitzgerald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Achillies Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzgerald throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Franklin Fitzgerald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fitzgerald lands with an uppercut that bounces Hendricks off the cage and back into range.

Hendricks shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Hendricks thows a huge punch but Fitzgerald dodges it nicely.
Hendricks seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fitzgerald does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Hendricks throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fitzgerald's waist but Fitzgerald gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hendricks off to one side.
Fitzgerald fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hendricks manages to avoid it.
Fitzgerald throws a lazy right hand but Hendricks sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Hendricks throws a push kick but Fitzgerald slaps the foot to one side.
Fitzgerald looks to throw the jab but Hendricks is out of range.

Hendricks has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Fitzgerald finds it's way round the side to connect with Hendricks's head.

Hendricks takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Fitzgerald cracks a nice hook into Hendricks's ribs.
Hendricks shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fitzgerald sprawls well. Fitzgerald wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hendricks gets slowly back to his feet.
Franklin Fitzgerald has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Achillies Hendricks.

Fitzgerald throws a head kick that Hendricks semi-blocks.
Hendricks on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
That has opened up Achillies Hendricks's cut even more.

Hendricks lands a nice hook to Fitzgerald's body. Fitzgerald takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

A quick step to the side and Fitzgerald tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fitzgerald is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Fitzgerald keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Fitzgerald is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Hendricks fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fitzgerald manages to avoid it.
Hendricks tries to move into range but Fitzgerald moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looked like Fitzgerald was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Hendricks.

Hendricks dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hendricks takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Fitzgerald moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Fitzgerald is pawing at Hendricks, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Hendricks's nose. Hendricks is badly hurt! Fitzgerald pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Hendricks tries desperately to hold on but Fitzgerald is relentless in his assault! As Hendricks receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Fitzgerald away and this one is in the books!
