Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Guy Brush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Copeland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brush comes to the cage accompanied by GOAT !!!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Guy Brush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Edward Copeland!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Brush, as that shot connected.
Brush slips under a jab.
Brush appears to be looking for a big counter.
Brush lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Brush closes the distance and clinches.
Brush scores with a hook to the body.
Copeland is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Brush to keep the fight standing.
Brush prevents a takedown attempt there.
Copeland fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Guy Brush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edward Copeland.

Brush pulls guard successfully.
Brush definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Copeland stopping the sweep attempt from Brush.
Brush has control of Copeland's left arm, preventing Copeland from doing any damage.
Copeland trying to control but Brush is working from the bottom.
Brush wants to stand but Copeland is controlling the position.

Copeland is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Copeland drops back looking for a leg! Brush is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brush manages to kick Copeland off! Copeland jumps back into Brush's guard.
Copeland stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brush swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Copeland being controlled here momentarily.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Brush is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Copeland is controlling him.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Brush keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Brush closes the distance and pushes Copeland back into the cage.
Copeland can't get the takedown.
Copeland is trying to pull guard but Brush turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Brush's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Horrible takedown attempt by Copeland or perhaps it was just good defense by Brush, which made it look bad.

Brush rushes Copeland and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Brush has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Copeland clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
You can see the frustration on Copeland's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Brush is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Copeland is in bad spot here.
Brush is not going to allow Copeland to sit and survive in this position.
Copeland manages to reverse the position and now he's in Brush's guard. Nice work there by Copeland.
Brush is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Copeland throws a lazy uppercut
and Brush connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Brush ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Copeland moves away.

Brush clinches with his opponent.
Copeland is trying to pull guard but Brush has him pressed against the cage.
Copeland wants a takedown but no success here.
Copeland tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Brush smiles and moves away.
Copeland looks winded!
Copeland fails with the takedown
and Brush counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Brush takes the fight into the clinch.
Copeland is trying to pull guard but Brush turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Guy Brush dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Brush throws a right and a left that Copeland avoids nicely.

Brush instigates a clinch.
Copeland is working for takedown but Brush is calmly controlling the position for now.
Copeland drops down looking for an ankle pick but Brush pulls his leg out and moves away.
Brush is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Copeland can do to turn this around?
Brush punishes Copeland's body with a nice straight punch.

Brush closes the distance and clinches.

Brush pulls guard effortlessly.
Brush can't keep his opponent in guard - Copeland advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brush is holding on to half guard well.
Brush throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Copeland is looking for a kimura here.

Brush is trying to stand up here but Copeland is controlling him well.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Copeland wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brush keeps working.

Copeland in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Brush tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Copeland!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Edward Copeland!
Guy Brush was interviewed post fight and said 'I'm rubber, you're glue'.
