Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blaze comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Halo by Soil kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Brandon Blaze has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Blaze fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage.
Blaze turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Jones is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Blaze advances to full mount.
Blaze wants to control the pace but Jones is squirming around nicely.
Blaze stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Jones throws a series of punches but Blaze avoids them all with ease.
Jones uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Blaze instigates a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones blocks an elbow strike from Blaze.
Blaze keeps control of Jones as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Blaze has Jones pressed against the cage.
Blaze escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jones drops Blaze with a right and a left! Jones comes rushing in but Blaze regains his composure and manages to keep Jones in guard.
Blaze is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Blaze is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Blaze with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Blaze prevents Jones from standing back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Blaze stands up and beckons Jones to join him on the feet.
Jones cracks Blaze with a right hand to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Blaze closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Blaze changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jones fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Shawn Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon Blaze.
Blaze looks gassed!
Jones scores with a nice right hand.
Blaze lands a nice hook to Jones's body. Jones takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Blaze fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Donk. Jones catches Blaze right on the button with a cross.
Nice takedown defense from Jones. No joy for Blaze on that attempt.
Jones steps into range and cracks Blaze with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Blaze flops backwards and Jones dives into his guard looking to finish!
Blaze is rocked!
Jones has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Jones gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Blaze is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
Jones drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Blaze right on the button. Blaze goes down! Jones follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Jones gets the win via TKO!
