Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Alaniz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pozar Pozar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Alaniz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Beck - Loser . The crowd seem to be enjoying Pozar's choice of entrance music: z Buta Wjeżdzam. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alaniz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Alaniz lands in his opponent's guard.
Alaniz scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Alaniz is working Pozar over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Alaniz connects with a couple of short punches.
Pozar working for a triangle but Alaniz defends it easily.
Pozar tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Pozar told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Alaniz's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Alaniz chips away with some ground and pound.
Alaniz would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alaniz scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Pozar is rocked!
Alaniz postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Pozar covers up, he's hurt! Alaniz keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Alaniz and the ref steps in to end the fight! Alaniz can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charlie Alaniz!
