Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sara McSlamm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan's entrance music is Girlfriend. A fine choice. The key to victory for Jake Ryan has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
56 - 28 - 5, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jake Ryan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
33 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sara McSlamm! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McSlamm ducks under a wild hook from Ryan. Ryan connects with a body shot. A jab from Ryan does it's job there. Ryan missing with a left hand there. McSlamm was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Ryan swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and McSlamm decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ryan's guard. Ryan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ryan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and McSlamm defends well. Ryan is trying to keep McSlamm in close.

That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McSlamm accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ryan manages to escape and get back to his feet.
McSlamm closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. McSlamm in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. McSlamm just content to control the position. McSlamm is chipping away with strikes.
Ryan is trying to get back to half guard. McSlamm looks up at the clock and then as Ryan takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, McSlamm smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ryan is looking for a sweep. Ryan pushes McSlamm away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, McSlamm gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. McSlamm lands a nice forearm strike. Ryan sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. McSlamm working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. McSlamm looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ryan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ryan trying to hold on to McSlamm's head to control him but McSlamm postures up.
McSlamm throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Ryan is trying to maintain the position but McSlamm is very close to passing his half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ryan flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
McSlamm thows a huge punch but Ryan dodges it nicely.
Ryan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McSlamm's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McSlamm's back! McSlamm defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Ryan's arms. McSlamm tries to escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McSlamm trying to control the hands but Ryan breaks the grip. You can see the frustration on McSlamm's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Ryan missing with strikes from the back. Ryan has the hooks in. McSlamm is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Ryan looking for the RNC. McSlamm wants to escape the position.
Ryan is looking for the choke from the back position but McSlamm is controlling his hands well. I really don't envy McSlamm right now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McSlamm breaks Ryan's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ryan misses with a straight right. McSlamm with the counter takedown but Ryan avoids it easily. Ryan misses with a right hand and Ryan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. McSlamm misses with a low kick.
Ryan was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Ryan swings widly with a right hand
and McSlamm counters with a takedown into side control. Ryan throws McSlamm to one side and escapes! McSlamm doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Ryan to counter with a crisp jab. Ryan throws an off balance right hand
and McSlamm cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. McSlamm shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ryan's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sara McSlamm dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ryan throws the left hand but McSlamm avoids the punch easily. McSlamm tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. McSlamm blocks a jab. McSlamm looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Ryan! Ryan struggling a bit here. McSlamm works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Ryan tries to get back to half guard but can't. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McSlamm is trying to get an arm triangle but Ryan is defending well. Ryan can't do much from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round. McSlamm lands a nice forearm strike. Ryan is trying to control McSlamm's posture but McSlamm avoids it. Ryan tries to improve position but can't. McSlamm trying to control the position but Ryan is working away. Ryan is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but McSlamm has just dragged him back down to the mat. Ryan manages to get back to half guard. McSlamm wants to take a breather but Ryan is having none of it. McSlamm is nestled in close to Ryan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Ryan slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Ryan looking to control.
McSlamm postures up and lands a big shot to Ryan's brow. Sara McSlamm has got the better of the ground game so far. McSlamm works over Ryan with some ground and pound from guard. McSlamm wants to pass the guard but Ryan is keeping the position. McSlamm is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

McSlamm content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. McSlamm lands a couple of digs. Ryan wants to stand and escape but McSlamm is having none of it. That's three minutes gone in the round. McSlamm sitting in guard here, content to control. Ryan is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and McSlamm dives into side control.
Ryan is looking to get back to his feet here but McSlamm is keeping cool and he's managed to take Ryan's back. McSlamm loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Ryan hold on?

Ryan is covering up but some of the strikes from McSlamm are getting through and doing damage.

Ryan is rocked! McSlamm scoring with big shots to the body. Ryan is looking for a way out. A despairing look towards the ref and the official steps in to stop the fight. Ryan was obviously done but didn't want to tap out.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sara McSlamm! A very excited looking Sara McSlamm rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed. Jake Ryan spoke after the fight, saying 'Tough result, but I still think I have one more title run in me!'.
