Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Escobarre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Linus Akerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Escobarre's entrance music is Xzibit- Alcoholic . A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pablo Escobarre! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Linus Akerman! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Escobarre ducks right into an uppercut from Akerman.
It looks like Pablo Escobarre has been cut. Akerman listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Escobarre pushes Akerman up against the cage in a clinch. Akerman working aggressively here.
Escobarre misses with a short punch on the inside. Akerman taking a breather. Akerman has a couple of punches blocked by Escobarre.
Akerman misses with the head strike.
Akerman wants to stall.
Escobarre tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Escobarre blocking some punches.
Akerman's coach down at Hunter MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Akerman's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Akerman effectively controlling the action here. Akerman tries a body shot but Escobarre blocks it.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Escobarre. Akerman displaying some good clinch control by pressing Escobarre up against the cage. The referee is keeping an eye on Akerman - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Linus Akerman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Escobarre throws a poor cross that misses
and Akerman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Escobarre slips under a jab from Akerman. Escobarre shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Akerman pinned against the cage. Akerman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Escobarre lands with a shot to the body. Escobarre swings widly with a right hand
letting Akerman counter with a right hand. Escobarre scores with a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Escobarre throws a hook but Akerman blocks it. Escobarre lands a really nice looking cross but Akerman seems unphased.
Escobarre scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Escobarre controlling the action here. That's three minutes gone in the round. Escobarre works his foot free and advances to mount. Escobarre tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Akerman is trying to reverse the position but instead Escobarre has taken his back - oops! Akerman is trying to break free.
Escobarre is riding his opponent, not letting Akerman buck him off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Escobarre is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Akerman defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Akerman is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
You can see the frustration on Akerman's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Escobarre scores with punches to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Pablo Escobarre will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Pablo Escobarre's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Escobarre looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Escobarre misses the shot to the body. Escobarre takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Akerman waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Escobarre. Akerman slips a straight right by Escobarre. Akerman walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Escobarre checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Akerman throws a right hand that Escobarre ducks under and follows up with a left that Escobarre also avoids with ease. Escobarre appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Escobarre scores with a nice strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice jab there from Akerman. A slapping leg kick lands for Akerman.
Escobarre fails to land with a series of punches.
Escobarre with a lazy takedown attempt and Akerman counters with a good, hard body kick but Escobarre shrugs it off. Linus Akerman seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's one minute gone in the round. Escobarre throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Akerman counters with a nice uppercut. Akerman lands a big right hand that sends Escobarre crashing to the mat! Akerman stays standing though and waves Escobarre back to his feet!
Escobarre is rocked! Akerman shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Oh Escobarre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Escobarre closes the distance and clinches. Escobarre lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Akerman misses with a body punch.
Escobarre seems to have got his legs back now. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Akerman lands a body punch. Akerman breaks from the clinch.
Akerman takes one to the chin there. Escobarre shoots in for a double leg but Akerman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pablo Escobarre. That's going to take a lot out of him. Escobarre chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Akerman can pounce on him.
Akerman throws a leg kick which misses Escobarre's front leg but catches the back leg as Escobarre tries to avoid it. Good exchange - Escobarre coming out on top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Escobarre throws the left hand but Akerman avoids the punch easily. Akerman displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Escobarre. It seemed like Akerman was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Akerman has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Escobarre takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Escobarre misses with a straight right. Escobarre looks to score with a jab to the body but Akerman is just out of range. Escobarre throws a combination that misses and Akerman counters with a nice right hand that sends Escobarre toppling to the canvas! Escobarre scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Akerman finish him?! Escobarre misses with a straight right. and Akerman counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Escobarre! He's just covering up as Akerman starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
