Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tre Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stone Flail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spar comes to the cage accompanied by Loser: Beck. Flail has chosen Check Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself by Ice Cube as his entrance music. Stone Flail acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tre Spar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Stone Flail!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spar on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Flail. Flail obviously looking to wear him down.
Flail throws a head kick that misses.
Flail lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Flail lands with a good body shot.
Flail throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Spar looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Flail misses with the combination.
Spar tries to clinch but Flail moves out of range.
Flail darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Flail throws a right and a left that Spar avoids nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Spar counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Spar.
Spar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Flail is keeping the position for now.

Spar drops back, looking for a kneebar! Flail looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Flail looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Flail!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Spar misses with a strike from the bottom.
Flail cracks Spar with a big right hand but Spar just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Spar avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Flail.
Spar gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Flail working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Spar wants to get back to full guard.

Spar is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Flail scores with a couple of nice shots.


It looks like Tre Spar has been cut.
Spar manages to get to full guard.
Flail is in close to Spar's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Flail told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Spar is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Flail defends well.

Flail postures up and lands a big shot to Spar's brow.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Flail lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Flail with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Flail is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Flail has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Spar to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Flail is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Spar pulls down on the head and he's put Flail to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Tre Spar!
