Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Fib Dibwibbler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Good (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dan Good will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Fib Dibwibbler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dan Good!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Good throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
An inside leg kick from Dibwibbler misses.
Good doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Dibwibbler throws a series of punches but Good moves out of range.
Dibwibbler lands the left hand.

Good fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dibwibbler, pushing him back against the ropes.
Dibwibbler is trying to maintain a safe position but Good gets an underhook and turns Dibwibbler into the ropes.
Dibwibbler wants to break free but Good has control.
Dibwibbler taking a breather.
Good lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dibwibbler backwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Good effectively controlling the action here.
Dibwibbler blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Good lands with a light punch inside.
Good trying to control the position but instead, Dibwibbler has worked for underhooks and has pushed Good into the ropes.
Good goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Good misses with a hook from the clinch.
Good keeps control of Dibwibbler as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Dibwibbler breaks the clinch.
Dibwibbler blocks a jab.
No joy there for Dibwibbler, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dibwibbler digs a good hook to Good's body.
Dibwibbler lands a head kick. Good smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Dibwibbler throws a push kick but Good slaps the foot to one side.
Good tries to clinch up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dibwibbler clobbers Good with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Good connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dibwibbler's hands.
Good scoring well with a low kick there.
Nice defenses there by Good.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dibwibbler throws a sloppy head kick and Good moves out of range easily.
Good has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Dibwibbler scores with a punch to the head.
Dibwibbler does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Dibwibbler throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dibwibbler waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Good.
Dibwibbler slips under a jab.
Good looks to land a left hand but Dibwibbler moved out of range nicely.
Good connects with a jab.
Dibwibbler connects with a good right hand that stumbles Good. Good circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Dibwibbler throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dibwibbler tries to work over Good's front leg with a kick but Good checks it.
Good swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Good lands a nice shot that snaps Dibwibbler's head back.
Dibwibbler lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dibwibbler takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Good thuds his shin into the meat of Dibwibbler's side.
Dibwibbler connects with a good right hand that stumbles Good. Good circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Fib Dibwibbler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dibwibbler misses with a wild body shot.
Dibwibbler stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Good.
Dibwibbler scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Good moves into range and clinches up with Dibwibbler.
A right hand to the body from Good.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Good misses with a shot to the kidneys.
The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Good lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dibwibbler blocking some punches.
Good lands a hook that snaps the head of Dibwibbler backwards.
Good misses with a punch to the body.
Good swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Good misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Good lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes.
Good tries to stall but Dibwibbler uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Good misses with a short punch on the inside.
Good fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Fib Dibwibbler will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Dibwibbler walks forward, straight into a front kick from Good.
Dibwibbler looks to score with a jab to the body but Good is just out of range.
Dibwibbler tries a head kick but it misses.
Good lands with a nice body kick.
Dibwibbler tests Good's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Dibwibbler walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Good checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Dibwibbler moves out of range of the strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Good tries to clinch up but Dibwibbler circles away and keeps his distance.
Dibwibbler throws the left hand but Good avoids the punch easily.
Good throws a counter combo.
Good gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Dibwibbler.
Dibwibbler throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Good counters with an outside leg kick.
Good takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.


Good is rocked!
Fib Dibwibbler is winning the standup battle so far.
BAM! Dibwibbler delivers a spinning backfist that drops Good like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
