The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

I was talking to Nietzsche's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Nietzsche bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hawthorne's head.

Nietzsche connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Hawthorne onto his butt! Hawthorne bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.

Nietzsche creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Hawthorne crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5, yes, he's made it back to his feet. He seems OK so it looks like we're going to continue!

Nietzsche connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Hawthorne's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Hawthorne - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Friedrich Nietzsche!

After winning the bout, Friedrich Nietzsche thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
