Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chester Mcmillan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Alex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Alex has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Chester Mcmillan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chester Mcmillan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Alex! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alex has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Mcmillan. Alex drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Mcmillan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Alex is controlling him. Mcmillan looking for a sweep. Not yet Mcmillan, not yet. Mcmillan controlling the position. Alex stops Mcmillan from standing up. Alex trying to control but Mcmillan is working from the bottom. Alex is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alex throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Mcmillan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mcmillan seems keen to control Alex's posture.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alex drives through with a takedown into guard. Mcmillan has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Mcmillan wants to sweep here but Alex controlling him for the moment. Alex trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Alex must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Mcmillan seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Mcmillan continues to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alex is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Mcmillan pulls Alex in to control the position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alex wanted to stand there but Mcmillan had control of the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Alex has closed the distance and engaged Mcmillan in a clinch.
Alex is pressed up against the cage. Mcmillan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Alex down to the mat. Alex avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alex drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Mcmillan has his feet on Alex's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Alex misses with a low kick. Mcmillan gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Alex to score an easy takedown into full guard. Mcmillan is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Alex dives into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action! Mcmillan is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Alex has just dragged him back down to the mat. Mcmillan tries to improve position but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alex taking a break here but Mcmillan is having none of it and regains half guard. Mcmillan slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Mcmillan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are working up against the cage. Mcmillan manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mcmillan is trying to force a seperation but Alex has the dominant position. Mcmillan tries for a takedown but Alex manages to get underhooks.
Alex pulls guard successfully.
Mcmillan content to stall in guard here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jack Alex will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Mcmillan is looking to chop away at Alex's legs. Alex shoots in and gets a takedown into Mcmillan's guard. Alex trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcmillan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Alex prevents Mcmillan from getting back to his feet. Mcmillan wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Mcmillan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Mcmillan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alex tries to free his leg and advance position but Mcmillan is retaining full guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Jack Alex has got the better of the ground game so far. Alex postures up.
Mcmillan looking for a sweep. Not yet Mcmillan, not yet.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Jack Alex is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Alex throws a head kick that misses. Mcmillan tries to counter by clinching up but Alex breaks away and moves out of range. Alex scores with a takedown into Mcmillan's guard. Alex being controlled here momentarily. Alex missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcmillan has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Alex has passed into side control.
Alex trying to control the action but Mcmillan is working from the bottom. Alex lands an elbow. Alex misses with the ground and pound. Alex has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Alex tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Alex has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcmillan wants to get back to his feet but Alex drags him back down. Alex tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Mcmillan manages to work his way to half guard, despite Alex's best efforts. Mcmillan is staying active underneath Alex, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Mcmillan is concentrating on defense, preventing Alex from advancing position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Alex performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Alex looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Mcmillan! Alex is breathing heavily. Mcmillan can't do much from the bottom here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Alex showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Alex. Mcmillan sneaks out the side door and pushes Alex away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Jack Alex seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Alex closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mcmillan quickly recovers to half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mcmillan is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Mcmillan wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcmillan is controlling Alex's trapped leg to prevent Alex from advancing to side control. Mcmillan is looking to escape. Mcmillan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Alex's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Alex's back! Mcmillan controls the position. Mcmillan not allowing Alex to control his hands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alex tries to escape but Mcmillan has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Alex takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Alex trying to control the hands but Mcmillan won't let him. Mcmillan doesn't have the hooks in and Alex manages to turn into his guard.
Mcmillan is pulling down on Alex's head to control his posture. Mcmillan is looking to sweep but instead, Alex has passed into half guard.
Mcmillan keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alex wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mcmillan keeps working. Mcmillan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mcmillan. Alex stops Mcmillan from standing up. Mcmillan is controlling Alex's posture. Mcmillan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Alex wants to control from the top but Mcmillan keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Alex decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Mcmillan wants to control but Alex is keeping busy.
Mcmillan is refusing to be controlled, as Alex sits in half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mcmillan pushes Alex off and gets back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Chester Mcmillan showed his dominance in that final round. I think Alex has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
