Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerico Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Canela De La Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jerico Mendez is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Canela De La Cruz!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De La Cruz dives in for a single leg takedown but Mendez sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

De La Cruz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and De La Cruz wants it to stay on the feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jerico Mendez.
Well Mendez has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
