Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ngomndji David!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, King LuhJay!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

David shoots in and gets a takedown into LuhJay's guard.
LuhJay is looking to stand back up but David counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by LuhJay.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

LuhJay is trying to stand back up but David is controlling him
LuhJay pushes David off but David dives into side control.
LuhJay is trying to buck David off.
David throwing shots but missing, from side control.

David tries for a kimura but LuhJay is defending well.
David has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
LuhJay is not content to let David control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
David is putting a hurting on LuhJay here, landing some big shots from side control.

David goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, LuhJay has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for David but great work by LuhJay.
David is not content to let LuhJay control the position.

LuhJay thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
David is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
LuhJay working away.
David stops LuhJay from passing to mount.
David is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on LuhJay's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
LuhJay is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
David moves into full guard.
David controlling LuhJay's posture.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
David wants to stand up but LuhJay is controlling him.
LuhJay must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

LuhJay avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
LuhJay advances position into side control!
LuhJay blocks the strikes from David.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
LuhJay is trying to move to mount but David reverses beautifully and ends up in LuhJay's guard.
David throws an elbow that misses. LuhJay uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in David's guard. Nice move by LuhJay!

David looking for a sweep. Not yet David, not yet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
LuhJay trying to control but David is working from the bottom.
LuhJay is looking to work some ground and pound but David has wrist control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ngomndji David will probably get the nod.
That's time! David's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


David fails with a takedown attempt.

David shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

David trying to control the position from guard on top but LuhJay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

LuhJay is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. David presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

LuhJay manages to break the clinch.

David clinches up with LuhJay and pushes him back against the cage.

LuhJay breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

David closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming LuhJay to the mat! LuhJay manages to get full guard.
LuhJay keeping moving, preventing David from controlling successfully.
David is standing up over LuhJay. LuhJay looks to escape but David dives into side control.
LuhJay is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
David wants to lay and pray for a moment but LuhJay keeps working.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
LuhJay parries the strikes from David easily there. David is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable LuhJay to escape.

David is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. LuhJay looks calm but he's in trouble here. David gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. LuhJay is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! David lets go of the hold and LuhJay can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ngomndji David!
King LuhJay was interviewed post fight and said 'I was Lacin On Um Wont Be No More Sht Like That .'.
