Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gregory McVaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fez Pez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gregory McVaughn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fez Pez!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McVaughn uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pez.
McVaughn on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Pez ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Pez uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McVaughn.
Pez finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Pez throws a solid leg kick but McVaughn takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Pez.
Pez throws the left hand but McVaughn avoids the punch easily.
Pez throws a body punch but McVaughn moves out of range.
Pez misses with an uppercut.

and Pez counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Gregory McVaughn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McVaughn lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Pez has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Pez and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
It seemed like Pez was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Pez just misses with a punch to the body.

McVaughn throws a chopping leg kick but Pez manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Some bone on bone action there as Pez checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Pez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
McVaughn throws a leg kick but Pez moved away.
McVaughn lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Pez throws a looping overhand right but McVaughn ducks down to avoid it.

McVaughn will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Good leg kick by McVaughn there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
McVaughn fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pez.
Pez's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Pez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McVaughn circles away quickly and effectively.
Pez throws a front kick aimed at McVaughn's knee but McVaughn avoids it well.
Pez avoids the head kick by McVaughn.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Fez Pez will probably get the nod.
That's time! McVaughn's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

McVaughn has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

McVaughn throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Pez blocks it with crossed arms.

Pez content to slow the pace in the clinch.

McVaughn connects with a nasty looking knee right to Pez's face.


Pez is rocked!
McVaughn working the clinch nicely. Pez is working for position but McVaughn cracks him with a big knee to the head! Pez crumples up against the cage and McVaughn lands two more shots before the ref can save Pez! This one is all over!
