Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Melvin Moroz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Melvin Moroz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Fred Jackson! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Moroz.
Jackson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Moroz circles away quickly and effectively. Jackson tests Moroz's chin there with a solid looking shot. Jab by Jackson. Jackson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Jackson throws a series of punches but Moroz moves out of range. Jackson stuffs the takedown. Jackson displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Some wild striking there from Jackson.

Jackson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Jackson might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Moroz avoids a punch combination nicely.
Moroz seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Jackson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Moroz had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Jackson misses with a wild combination.
