The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taisumov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Taisumov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Taisumov definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Taisumov.
Taisumov scores with a one two! Jones had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Brandon Jones has been cut.
Taisumov connects with a right hand. Jones shakes it off.
A combination from Taisumov does no damage.
Jones throws a series of punches but Taisumov avoids them all with ease.
Jones tries to keep at a distance but Taisumov has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jones struggles to land a body shot inside as Taisumov controls his hands.
Jones avoids a wild elbow strike from Taisumov.
Jones misses with a hook from the clinch.
Taisumov lands with a right to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Taisumov just misses with a elbow thrown towards Jones's brow.
Taisumov lands with a light punch inside.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Taisumov.

Taisumov dips a shoulder and cracks Jones with a mighty uppercut! Jones falls back against the cage and Taisumov unloads with a barrage of strikes! Jones is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Taisumov screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mairbek Taisumov!
