Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Virgil Figueroa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Satan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Satan misses the body punch
and Figueroa counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Figueroa fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Satan, pushing him back against the cage.
Figueroa successfully pulls guard.
Satan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Figueroa is adopting a defensive guard.
Figueroa has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Satan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Satan wants to pass the guard but Figueroa is keeping the position.
Figueroa wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Figueroa in particular looking to stall.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Satan misses the shot to the body.
Figueroa attempts a counter takedown but Satan avoids it well and moves away.

Figueroa takes the fight into the clinch.
Figueroa gets control of Satan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Figueroa will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Satan looks to land a right hand but Figueroa moved out of range.
Satan feints and as Figueroa raises his hands in defense, Satan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Satan throws an elbow that misses. Figueroa uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Satan's guard. Nice move by Figueroa!
Figueroa lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Figueroa wants to control from the top but Satan keeps moving.

Satan swings widly with a right hand
and Figueroa counters with a nice kick to the body.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Figueroa has taken the fight to the clinch.
Figueroa ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Figueroa no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Satan is posturing up here but Figueroa has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Satan tries to roll out but it's too tight and Satan has to tap! Slick submission there by Figueroa!
