Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brick Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones's entrance music is Laurel & Hardy present “ Dueling Banjos “. A fine choice. Cain Dos Santos is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Brick Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Cain Dos Santos! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dos Santos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Dos Santos slips nicely into half guard. Dos Santos throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Jones to regain full guard. Dos Santos preventing the sweep. Jones keeping moving, preventing Dos Santos from controlling successfully. Jones seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Dos Santos works over Jones with some ground and pound from guard. Dos Santos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dos Santos slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Dos Santos wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dos Santos looking to pass the guard. Dos Santos gets to his feet - Jones follows without any prompting. Jones fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Dos Santos checks it well. Jones tries to sprawl but Dos Santos drives through with a takedown into half guard. Jones scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Dos Santos manages to mount him!
Jones sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Dos Santos is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Dos Santos is looking to advance position but Jones won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones is looking for a sweep. Dos Santos is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dos Santos drops an elbow to the side of Jones's head. Dos Santos is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Jones reverses the position - he's now on top in Dos Santos's guard. Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dos Santos looking for a sweep. Not yet Dos Santos, not yet. Jones landing some decent shots from guard. Dos Santos looking to control.
Jones missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Jones postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dos Santos is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Dos Santos controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dos Santos is pulling down on Jones's head. It's preventing any offense from Jones, at least for the moment. Dos Santos is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jones defends well. Dos Santos is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dos Santos is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jones being controlled here momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Dos Santos throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jones tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dos Santos is in Jones's guard. Dos Santos won't allow Jones to sweep him here. Dos Santos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dos Santos wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cain Dos Santos dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Dos Santos looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Jones wants to control but Dos Santos is keeping busy.
Dos Santos decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Dos Santos on the wrong end of a nice hook.
It looks like Cain Dos Santos has been cut. Cain Dos Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dos Santos closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jones did well to prevent Dos Santos getting side control. Jones is staying active underneath Dos Santos, who seems content to just control the action from this position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dos Santos passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jones! Dos Santos has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Dos Santos controlling the pace for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones tries to reverse the position but Dos Santos maintains control. Dos Santos controlling the position easily from mount. Dos Santos goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Jones is on top in guard.
Cain Dos Santos has got the better of the ground game so far. Jones with a nice head shot there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dos Santos trying to keep a closed guard but Jones is proving a slippery customer.
Dos Santos wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Dos Santos is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jones's half guard. Jones looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Jones is looking to control Dos Santos's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jones avoid being mounted? Jones regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dos Santos is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Dos Santos won't allow Jones to sweep him here. Dos Santos trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dos Santos prevents Jones from getting back to his feet. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Dos Santos postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Dos Santos slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dos Santos trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jones cracks Dos Santos with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Jones moves into the clinch successfully.

Dos Santos fails with a takedown attempt. Jones was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Dos Santos feints and then dives in with a takedown. Jones has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dos Santos jumps guard but Jones stands there with Dos Santos around his waist. Dos Santos gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Dos Santos can't get the takedown.
Dos Santos looking for a takedown. Brick Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cain Dos Santos. Jones fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jones lands with a short head shot on the inside. Jones lands with a left to the head. Jones tries to work over Dos Santos's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Dos Santos tries to pull guard but Jones holds him up against the cage and eventually Dos Santos drops back down to his feet.
Jones lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Dos Santos backwards. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Jones misses with a hook to the ribs.
Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dos Santos shoots in and gets a takedown into Jones's guard. Dos Santos stopping the sweep attempt from Jones.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dos Santos trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Dos Santos trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Jones manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Jones postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Jones stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Dos Santos throws up his legs and catches Jones in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Jones tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Dos Santos! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Cain Dos Santos!
