Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brick Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones's entrance music is Laurel & Hardy present “ Dueling Banjos “. A fine choice. Cain Dos Santos is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jones sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Jones is looking for a sweep. Dos Santos is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Dos Santos drops an elbow to the side of Jones's head.
Dos Santos is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Jones reverses the position - he's now on top in Dos Santos's guard.
Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Dos Santos throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jones tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dos Santos is in Jones's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
