Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Emmanuel Gunines!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanaka with a nice cross.
Emmanuel Gunines seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gunines darts in looking for a takedown but Tanaka gets double underhooks and turns Gunines into the cage.
Gunines shoots and misses
and Tanaka counters with a nice uppercut.
Tanaka lands a big uppercut and Gunines crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Gunines looks OK. Tanaka waves Gunines back to his feet!
Gunines is rocked!

Tanaka moves into range and clinches up with Gunines.
Gunines is still on wobbly legs! Can Tanaka finish him?
Tanaka swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Tanaka misses with the head strike.
Tanaka has a couple of punches blocked by Gunines.

Tanaka has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gunines clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Tanaka is landing big shots and Gunines is squirming looking to escape! He can't escape though and the ref jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hiro Tanaka!
A relieved looking Hiro Tanaka thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
