Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Etan Seeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDonald is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Vader - Blood Of Kingu. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Etan Seeman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tony McDonald!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seeman stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McDonald.
McDonald connects with a high kick.


It looks like Etan Seeman has been cut.
McDonald takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.


It looks like Tony McDonald has been cut.
Seeman is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
McDonald chopping away at his opponent's legs.
McDonald throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Seeman throwing a counter right hand but McDonald manages to avoid it.
McDonald looks to score with a jab to the body but Seeman is just out of range.
Seeman connects with a single shot there.
McDonald tries to score with a low kick but Seeman moves his leg out of the way.
McDonald connects with a leg kick. Seeman looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
McDonald tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McDonald tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Seeman is able to avoid easily.
Seeman fires out a quick counter leg kick but McDonald just manages to avoid it.
McDonald looks to throw the jab but Seeman is out of range.
McDonald misses with a right hand
and Seeman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Seeman misses with a hook. McDonald ducked under it nicely.

and Seeman counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by McDonald.
McDonald throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McDonald throws a solid leg kick but Seeman takes the impact on his shin and smiles at McDonald.
Seeman throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
McDonald flicks out a counter leg kick but Seeman steps away.
Tony McDonald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McDonald slips a jab from Seeman.
And McDonald responds with a good body kick, but Seeman manages to step out the way in time.
McDonald tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Seeman paws at him with a jab and circles away.
McDonald throws a leg kick
and Seeman counters with a good low kick that McDonald was not able to check.

McDonald closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
McDonald throws a punch but it's blocked by Seeman.
I was talking to Seeman's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Seeman blocks an uppercut.
McDonald told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

McDonald breaks from the clinch.
McDonald thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Seeman if he has to take too many more of those.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McDonald looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Seeman checks a leg kick nicely.
McDonald lands with a kick to the ribs.
McDonald throws a leg kick but Seeman sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Seeman pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
McDonald takes a shot to the head.
A hook to the body from Seeman.
Seeman lands with a short shot to the head.


That has opened up Tony McDonald's cut even more.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
McDonald is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Seeman lands a left hand.
Seeman misses with a punch to the body.
McDonald tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Seeman.
McDonald is working Seeman over against the cage.
McDonald blocking some punches.
McDonald's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Seeman is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
McDonald avoids a wild elbow strike from Seeman.
A short uppercut from Seeman.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
McDonald throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Seeman blocks it with crossed arms.
Seeman lands a body punch in the clinch.
Seeman throws a punch but it's blocked by McDonald.
Seeman trying to land knees to the body.
Seeman is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. McDonald is defending well for now.
Seeman tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A short right hand to the side of the head by Seeman.


The cut above Tony McDonald's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
McDonald throws a knee to the head but misses.
McDonald blocks the elbow strike.
Seeman misses with a punch to the body.
A head punch on the inside from Seeman fails to land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Etan Seeman will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Seeman checks a low kick from McDonald.
McDonald wants to clinch
and Seeman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Seeman on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by McDonald. McDonald obviously looking to wear him down.
McDonald walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Seeman checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Nice defenses there by Seeman.

enabling Seeman to counter with a crisp jab.
A bone on bone clash there as Seeman blocks the leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Whack! Seeman lands a heavy head kick that drops McDonald. The ref tackles Seeman to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because McDonald was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Etan Seeman!
Post fight, Etan Seeman stared into the camera and said 'Whos your DADDY?'.
