Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alexander Kuoppala!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in but Kuoppala avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kuoppala throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.
Silva changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Silva shoots in for a double leg but Kuoppala sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Silva gets a takedown into half guard.
Silva wants to stand up but Kuoppala manages to regain full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kuoppala wants to sweep but no luck.

Silva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kuoppala distracts Silva with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Kuoppala fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Silva.
Silva closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kuoppala circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chuck Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silva takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Chuck Silva has been cut.
Alexander Kuoppala is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kuoppala sizes up Silva with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Alexander Kuoppala seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kuoppala. Kuoppala obviously looking to wear him down.
Kuoppala closes the distance and pushes Silva back into the cage.
Silva tries to break the clinch but Kuoppala is controlling the position.
Silva drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Kuoppala prevents Silva from breaking the clinch.
Kuoppala lands an elbow inside.
Silva swings wildly with an uppercut but Kuoppala uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kuoppala blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Silva is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kuoppala pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Kuoppala has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head and Silva goes down! Kuoppala dives on top of him - Silva manages to get guard.
Silva is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva wants to stand but Kuoppala is controlling the position.
Oh Silva is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kuoppala controls the pace.
Kuoppala lands a couple of decent looking shots.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexander Kuoppala dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Chuck Silva's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Silva shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kuoppala defends it nicely.
Silva seems to have got his legs back now.
Kuoppala grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Silva takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Kuoppala cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Alexander Kuoppala!
In defeat, Chuck Silva stepped up to the mic, saying 'it was bad luck'.
