The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Namikaze tries a head kick but it misses.
Singer looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Singer closes the distance and clinches up with Namikaze, looking for a takedown. Singer pushes Namikaze against the cage but Namikaze circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Singer throws a push kick but Namikaze slaps the foot to one side.

Namikaze thows a body kick. Singer tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Singer takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Singer feints and as Namikaze raises his hands in defense, Singer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Namikaze wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Singer manages to pass to side control.

Singer in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Namikaze tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Singer!
