Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mr Jingles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dj Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jingles's entrance music is Ride the Lightening-Metallica. A fine choice. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mr Jingles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dj Shaw! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Michael Johnstone and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jingles dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Shaw. That did some damage! A chopping leg kick lands by Shaw. Jingles moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Shaw feints and as Jingles raises his hands in defense, Shaw changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Shaw looking to pass the guard. Shaw makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Jingles is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Shaw is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shaw throwing strikes from guard but Jingles blocks nicely. Jingles has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Shaw off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jingles tries to clinch up. Shaw changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Jingles tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shaw paws at him with a jab and circles away. A head kick misses from Jingles. Shaw keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jingles lands a head kick!
It looks like Dj Shaw has been cut. Jingles wants to clinch. A low kick from Jingles is predictable there and Shaw counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Shaw. Jingles has his feet on Shaw's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Some bone on bone action there as Shaw checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jingles tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Shaw swivels and escapes. Despite the aggression on Shaw's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jingles rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shaw moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jingles dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Shaw. That did some damage! Nice takedown defense from Shaw. No joy for Jingles on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mr Jingles. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jingles is breathing heavily. Shaw moves into the clinch. Jingles is defending well against a takedown attempt. Jingles can't break the clinch.
Jingles throws a knee to the head but misses.
Jingles is trying to force a seperation but Shaw has the dominant position. Shaw's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Jingles looking to throw knees to the head but Shaw is blocking nicely.
Shaw lands an elbow just above Jingles 's eye. Jingles lands a hook to the side of the head. Shaw blocks the elbow strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaw is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jingles to keep the fight standing. Shaw fails to pull guard.

Shaw keeping moving, preventing Jingles from controlling successfully. Jingles working some strikes from top position. Jingles postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Shaw trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jingles throws a big elbow that misses. Jingles trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Shaw looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jingles wants to get up but he can't break Shaw's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jingles preventing the sweep. Shaw is trying to keep Jingles in close.
Jingles throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jingles thuds a left hand into Shaw's body. Shaw misses with a takedown attempt - Jingles sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jingles closes the distance and clinches up with Shaw, looking for a takedown. Jingles pushes Shaw against the cage but Shaw circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jingles tries to clinch but Shaw moves out of range. Shaw shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jingles's guard. Shaw must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jingles wants to get back to his feet but Shaw is in a dominant position and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mr Jingles will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Dj Shaw's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Shaw pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jingles keeps Shaw at a distance using the push kick. Shaw shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Shaw showed some decent athleticism there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jingles wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaw seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jingles does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Jingles is trying to stand back up but Shaw is controlling him
Jingles pushes Shaw off and gets back to his feet. Shaw avoids the body shot from Jingles.
Jingles tries to clinch up but Shaw circles away and keeps his distance. Mr Jingles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jingles tries to clinch but Shaw moves out of range. Shaw gets the takedown into side control. Shaw decides to stand back up. Shaw steps back and let's Jingles get back to his feet. A combination from Jingles does no damage. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jingles is defended easily by Shaw. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shaw avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Jingles shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Shaw but Shaw pushes him off and we're back to square one. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shaw darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Shaw seems to be working for a kimura but Jingles defends the submission attempt. Still in half guard, Shaw seems content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jingles pushes Shaw off and gets back to his feet. Nice cross by Jingles. Shaw circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jingles tries to clinch but Shaw is having none of it. Shaw showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jingles.
Jingles misses with a hook. Shaw ducked under it nicely. Jingles misses with a double jab
and Shaw counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Jingles! Jingles is looking to get back to his feet here but Shaw is keeping cool and he's managed to take Jingles's back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jingles is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jingles misses with a straight left. Jingles scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Jingles throws a leg kick and Shaw counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Shaw prevents Jingles from breaking the clinch. Shaw jumps guard and drags Jingles to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Jingles throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Shaw works some decent striking defense from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jingles accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Shaw holds on and takes a little breather. Jingles throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Shaw working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jingles. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Mr Jingles will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Dj Shaw's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Shaw really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jingles. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Shaw working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jingles. Jingles postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Jingles pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Shaw is keeping the position for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jingles has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jingles is pushing down on Shaw's leg trying to pass to half guard. Shaw is fighting to maintain full guard but Jingles has managed to sneak the leg through. Mr Jingles overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Shaw controlling the position well. Shaw is trying to escape back to his feet but Jingles uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Jingles is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Shaw knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Jingles tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaw tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jingles wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Shaw dodges the ground and pound from Jingles. Jingles is looking to take a break and control but Shaw is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shaw can do anything to dispel that myth. Shaw parries the strikes from Jingles easily there. Jingles is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Shaw to escape.
Shaw struggling a bit here. Jingles wants to lay and pray for a moment but Shaw keeps working. Shaw is looking to regain half guard here but Jingles keeps moving and retains side control. Mr Jingles is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jingles wants to control but Shaw is keeping him busy.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Mr Jingles is winning the standup battle so far. Shaw forces Jingles back against the cage and clinches. Shaw has Jingles pressed against the cage.
Shaw jumps guard but Jingles stands there with Shaw around his waist. Shaw gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Mr Jingles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dj Shaw. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Shaw is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
And that's the end of the fight! Mr Jingles showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jingles, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
