Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Borhan Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pietr Kandinsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pietr Kandinsky has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Borhan Khan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Borhan Khan! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pietr Kandinsky! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kandinsky tries to avoid it but Khan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kandinsky to the ground. Kandinsky escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kandinsky moves into the clinch successfully.
Kandinsky's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The fighters circling - Kandinsky throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Khan shoots in but no luck this time. Kandinsky lands with a cross. Kandinsky misses with an uppercut. Khan saw that one coming. Khan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kandinsky as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Borhan Khan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Khan shoots in and drives through. Kandinsky sprawls well. Khan dives in and grabs Kandinsky's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kandinsky pushes down on Khan's head and hops out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Khan shoots in for a takedown but Kandinsky shows good takedown defense. Khan shoots in looking for a takedown but Kandinsky manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Khan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Kandinsky swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. A looping hook to the body misses from Khan. Kandinsky does a little dance to reset his feet. Khan has a takedown stuffed. A countering left hand to the body from Kandinsky misses. Kandinsky cracks Khan with a big right hand and Khan goes down!
Khan is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Kandinsky postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Khan covers up, he's hurt! Kandinsky keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Kandinsky and the ref steps in to end the fight! Kandinsky can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pietr Kandinsky! Pietr Kandinsky is the new middleweight champion! Pietr Kandinsky spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
