Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Philip Gallagher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordon Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gallagher kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Vindictives - Stupid Song. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Gordon Patterson has been cut.

Patterson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gallagher walks away with a smile on his face. Patterson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Gallagher looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Gallagher forces Patterson back against the cage and clinches.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Patterson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
