Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyrone Carroll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khai Wi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyrone Carroll has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tyrone Carroll! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Khai Wi! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wi swats away the attempt to clinch by Carroll. Wi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wi shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Wi was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Carroll tries to improve position but can't. Wi moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Carroll prevents Wi from moving into mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wi tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Carroll being controlled for a moment. Carroll tries to bench press Wi off him but Wi keeps the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. A lull in the action here. It looks like Wi might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Wi scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Carroll to see if he's OK. Wi taking a breather here. Carroll could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Wi tries to stand but Carroll is controlling his head. A lull in the action here. Wi tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Carroll tries to get back to half guard but can't. Wi tries to move into full mount but can't pass Carroll's legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wi stands up and beckons Carroll to his feet. Carroll wants to clinch. Carroll sets himself, and Wi steps forward looking for the clinch! Carroll avoids it this time. Carroll throws a head kick but Wi moves out of range.
Wi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Well, if Wi is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Carroll trying to control from the bottom.
Wi seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wi is thwarting Carroll's attempts to control the position. Wi controlling the action here. Wi prevents Carroll from improving his position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wi wants to pass to mount but Carroll is defending the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Khai Wi dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Wi scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Wi slows the pace down in half guard. Wi is continuing to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wi scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Wi tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Carroll trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Wi manages to pass to mount!
Wi working Carroll over with strikes here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wi tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Wi wants to get back to his feet but Carroll is holding on tight.
Wi has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wi scoring with strikes but Carroll is staying in there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wi lands a big elbow. Wi fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Wi working away from the top, dropping strikes. Wi looking for a guillotine from mount but Carroll is having none of it. Wi cracks Carroll with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Khai Wi!
