Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dragomir Turgulan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyrus Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dragomir Turgulan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cyrus Hill! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Reed Andrews and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turgulan gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hill is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Turgulan to keep the fight standing. Turgulan lands an elbow inside that Hill shrugs off.
It looks like Cyrus Hill has been cut. Hill manages to pull guard.
Turgulan looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Turgulan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hill on the ground. Turgulan wants to control from the top but Hill keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hill managing to control the position. Turgulan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Turgulan trying to control but Hill is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hill wants to sweep but no luck. Hill throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Turgulan wants to control from the top but Hill keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turgulan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hill is keeping the position for now. Turgulan controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Turgulan misses with a wild body shot. Hill feints the counter takedown. Turgulan just misses with a punch to the body.
Turgulan connects with a single shot there. Hill gets tackled into the cage by Turgulan. Turgulan maintains the clinch. Turgulan lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Turgulan lands a nice elbow from the clinch. A short uppercut from Turgulan. Turgulan lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Hill tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Turgulan just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turgulan gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Turgulan is pushing Hill up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Turgulan lands a nice uppercut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hill tries for a takedown but Turgulan manages to get underhooks.
Dragomir Turgulan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cyrus Hill. Turgulan just leaning against Hill, taking a breather. Turgulan lands a hook to the side of the head. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Turgulan takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Nice elbow from Turgulan. Hill takes an elbow to the temple. Turgulan lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
That has opened up Cyrus Hill's cut even more. Turgulan avoids a wild elbow strike from Hill. Hill takes an elbow to the temple. A left hand lands to the body for Turgulan.
A right hook to the body lands for Turgulan.
Hill fails to pull guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turgulan displaying some good clinch control by pressing Hill up against the cage. Turgulan lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Turgulan is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Turgulan gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Turgulan throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hills head.
The cut above Cyrus Hill's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Turgulan lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Hill. Hill looks winded! Hill is trying to pull guard but Turgulan turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Turgulan lands an elbow inside that Hill shrugs off. Turgulan gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Turgulan lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Hill tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hill's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Turgulan lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Cyrus Hill's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nice elbow from Turgulan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hill takes an elbow to the forehead. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Turgulan takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Turgulan lands an elbow inside.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Cyrus Hill's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
