Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wiwanyang Wachipi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gray Maddox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maddox has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wachipi finds it's way round the side to connect with Maddox's head.
Wachipi tests Maddox's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wachipi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wachipi wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Wachipi doesn't manage to clinch there - Maddox circles away.

Wachipi is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Maddox takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Maddox is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Wachipi feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Maddoxs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Wachipi is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Wachipi tries to clinch but Maddox is having none of it.
Wachipi pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Maddox back to the cage. Wachipi follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Maddox tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wachipi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Maddox somewhat.

Wiwanyang Wachipi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gray Maddox.

Wachipi lands a really nice looking cross but Maddox seems unphased.

Wachipi wants to control but Maddox postures up.
Wachipi tries to improve position but can't.
Maddox tries to score with some ground and pound. Wachipi controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Maddox has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Wachipi takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Wachipi seems a little lost for a moment, as Maddox dominates the positioning.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Maddox looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Maddox content to control rather than advance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Maddox shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wachipi as he avoids it easily.

Maddox looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wachipi is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd cheers as Wachipi lands an impressive looking overhand right. Maddox doesn't seem phased though.

Maddox unleashes a big counter combination but Wachipi bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Wachipi cracks Maddox with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Wachipi drops Maddox with a naaaaasty hook - Maddox is in real trouble here! Wachipi dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wiwanyang Wachipi!
In his post fight interview, Wiwanyang Wachipi started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
