Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Arman Olsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lora closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Olsson is refusing to be controlled, as Lora sits in half guard.
Lora is pressing down on Olsson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Olsson is holding on for now.

Olsson wants to get back to his feet but Lora is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Olsson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Lora wants to control but Olsson is keeping busy.
Olsson wants to work for an arm triangle but Lora is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Olsson wants to take a breather but Lora is having none of it.

Lora is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Olsson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Olsson's back!

Lora is fighting off a takedown attempt but Olsson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lora to the mat. Lora regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Olsson misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Lora regains half guard there - taking advantage of Olsson's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Lora is looking for a sweep. Olsson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Olsson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Olsson wants to stand up but Lora has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Lora gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lora holds on and takes a little breather.
Olsson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Olsson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lora misses with a hook.
Olsson works over Lora's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Felix Lora has been cut.

A nice side step and Lora releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Olsson shoots in looking for a takedown. Lora tries to sprawl out of it but Olsson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lora manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lora dives in and grabs Olsson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Olsson pushes down on Lora's head and hops out.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lora tries to score a power double leg takedown but Olsson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lora somewhat.
Olsson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Lora throws the left hand but Olsson avoids the punch easily.
Olsson throws a leg kick but Lora sees it coming and moves out of range.
Lora looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Lora scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Olsson is squirming around, avoiding Lora's attempts to control the action.
Lora goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Olsson is on top in guard.
Olsson wants to control from the top but Lora keeps moving.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Arman Olsson.
Well Olsson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
