The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nichols tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tesla was well out of range. Poor timing from Nichols.
Good exchange - Nichols coming out on top.
Nichols throws a jab but it's blocked by Tesla.
Nichols throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nichols connects with a right hand. Tesla shakes it off.
Nichols is stalking his opponent - BOOM! Switch kick out of nowhere! Tesla is not moving; he is out cold!! Wow, what a quick finish that was.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Scott Nichols!
A relieved looking Scott Nichols thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
