Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Herschel Dyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Death Stroke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Death Stroke will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Herschel Dyer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Death Stroke!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Dyer has his takedown stuffed
and Stroke counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dyer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stroke is fending him off so far but Dyer persists. Nope, Stroke circles away and we're back to standing.

Herschel Dyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Stroke counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Stroke is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Horrible takedown attempt by Dyer or perhaps it was just good defense by Stroke, which made it look bad.

Dyer feints and as Stroke raises his hands in defense, Dyer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Stroke wants to get back to his feet but Dyer is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Dyer drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stroke manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dyer has Stroke in his guard.
Stroke would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Stroke really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dyer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stroke decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Death Stroke is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Dyer shoots and misses
and Stroke counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Dyer doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Stroke cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dyer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stroke avoids it really well and circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dyer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stroke circles away.
No luck for Dyer with that takedown attempt.
Despite the aggression on Stroke's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Stroke slaps away a takedown attempt from Dyer, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Dyer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stroke tries to avoid it but Dyer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stroke to the ground. Stroke escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stroke unleashes a big counter combination but Dyer bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Death Stroke showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Dyer wants to clinch
and Stroke connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Stroke circles away from the clinch attempt.
Stroke wants to counter the offense by Dyer and move into the clinch position.

Dyer shoots in looking for a takedown. Stroke tries to sprawl out of it but Dyer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stroke manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Stroke counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Stroke counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Dyer jumps guard but Stroke stands there with Dyer around his waist. Dyer gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Stroke manages to break the clinch.
Dyer fails to land the takedown.
Dyer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stroke sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dyer somewhat.

And that's the end of the fight!
Death Stroke comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Stroke winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
